TELECOMMUNICATION SURVEYING SERVICES
TRUE NORTH can provide the Raw Land Surveys (RLS) and 1A letters required for your Telecommunication projects. These surveys are unique and are quite different than a typical Utility Corridor Survey, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey or Land Survey plat.
RAW LAND SURVEY - The RLS shows platted boundary information rotated on found property and section corner control. The entire project is tied to a known horizontal and vertical control point. A current title commitment will show all encumbrances that affect the site. A one foot contour map is then created from a ground survey. The final product includes the proposed lease parcel and access & utility easements.
1A LETTER - The 1A Letter is a document that shows general information of the tower site and generally includes: Site Address, City, County State, Latitude and Longitude and Tower base and height elevations. The final document is signed and sealed by a Professional Land Surveyor.

CERTIFIED – Pre-Qualified – WBE – ESB – SBE – TRUE NORTH is a certified small business with the federal government, is pre-qualified to perform surveying services with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), a Women Owned Business (WBE)*, an Emerging Small Business (ESB) with the Colorado Department of Transportation and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the Regional Transportation Department. *CDOT and City and County of Denver do not recognize TRUE NORTH as a WBE.
SUB-CONSULTANTS – TRUE NORTH has a strong team of sub-consultants that specialize in certain tasks, which may be required on a telecommunication project. These services include: Construction staking, Aerial mapping, LiDAR airborne mapping, High Definition scanning, underground utility locates, potholing/boreholing and land title documents.
PAST PROJECTS – TRUE NORTH has successfully completed many telecommunication projects. These projects, there locations and specifics are confidential per our contract, but are Colorado wide.
